Visual Basic is a programming language made by Microsoft. It is event-driven. It is an Rapid Application Development environment.

  • Visual Basic 1.0 for Windows (1991)
  • Visual Basic 1.0 for MS-DOS (1992). It was not compatible with the Windows version.
  • Visual Basic 2.0 (1992). It was hugely improvised.
  • Visual Basic 3.0 (1993)
  • Visual Basic 4.0 (1995). Included support for 16-bit and 32-bit applications; and it had classes.
  • Visual Basic 6.0 (1998). Last version of the non-.NET Framework versions.
