I believe that there is no need to have an external article for this subject, but instead that it should be merged with the Binary- article. --Tuntis 19:54, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

At this point you are correct. But in the future it might need a seperate article (if we add about how the PC handles bits, how they connect to form bytes, etc, which is seperate from binary). However, at this point, there are two different point of view in conflict:

1. We could make Bit a redirect (#REDIRECT [[Binary#Bit]]) to redirct to the bit section in the binary article, and
2. At the same time, if we thought we need to expand and move it to a seperate article after moving, it might cause some annoyances.

So, We need find compromises. Let's leave the discussion and see what points could we get.Gmking 20:05, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
