A release to manufacturing (RTM), also known as gold availability, occurs when a software has completed its development cycle and is now ready for release.

Like RC and Beta, the final version of major software that has been released to manufacturing is called the RTM, examples include Windows Vista, where its build 6000 was called "the RTM".

An RTM version is the final version of a product, but the term is usually used to refer to the phase before public availability of the product.
