About Copyrights
Copyrights are a set of exclusive rights regulating the use of a particular expression of an idea or information. Breaking copyrights is not tolerated in the GMking.org Wiki. Any content posted in the Wiki must have an appropriate license, or a permission must be given for it to be posted here.
When it comes to copyrights, most of the attention we pay goes to Images and Article Assimilation, all which will be covered in this section.
Images
You can use Template:Own-GFDL by placing {{Own-GFDL}} on your image if you have created the image you uploaded. Other copyrights can be written in the image description. Other templates include Template:GFDL which has the following syntax: {{GFDL|creator|uploader}}.
Article Assimilation
Article Assimilation is a very important issue concerning copyrights. The GMking.org wiki only allows Article Assimilation when the the assimilation template is used and proper links and credits are given to the original article and its authors which excerpts have been assimilated from.
