GMpedia.org Wiki:Article Assimilation

Articles with licences that allow both redistribution and editing of works (such as all Creative Commons Licences (excluding NoDrivs) and the GFDL) may be assimilated into GMwiki, with some strict limitations:

• Avoid assimilation completely, wherever possible glean knowledge from sources, write based on this knowledge, and cite the source.
• If assimilation is absolutely necessary and it's not possible or efficient to gain the content by other means the assimilation notice and wikify notices must be added to the article, wikify the article as much as possible and merge into other sources or your own content. Someone else must review the article and remove the wikify notice.
• If an article changes to the point where it is no longer a replica or very similar to the original, the original assimilation source can be cited and the assimilation notice removed.
